The definition of life is creation.
Life evolves, it grows, it changes;
like our bodies, like our food, like the earth
and the human spirit.
Nonlife would be like Pamela Anderson,
never growing fatter, older or wiser;
perfect and sterile.
It’s frozen in time and space,
like dead food that is preserved and processed.
It doesn’t move because it has no life force to
enable it to move.
Life is moving constantly. It is full of energy.
Life is “living” activity.
It is a process of evolution, of transformation,
of birth, and shedding of degenerations.
The goal is not “perfection”
which is a state of nonmovement.
The goal is evolution,
the goal of life is life itself.
Life is beauty, power, strength, movement
Achieved through balance
Bringing joy.
Our food embodies the life force.
It is creative,
constantly seeding, sprouting and
bearing fruit.
It is in motion,
chemically transforming sunlight, water,
air and soil to organic minerals,
vitamins and enzymes.
It changes,
growing in seasons, following the
soltices of the sun and the moon.
It evolves,
adapting to weather, predators and
sunlight in strife to live.
It is balanced.
All the nutrients within each fruit, nut,
legume and grain complement each
other, in order to be used
synergistically within the human body.
It is joyful.
Fruits and vegetables are mythical
symbols of the earth’s bounty.
